The number of people addicted to technology is increasing daily.  Addiction is the same no matter what type, “Whether it’s gambling, cocaine, alcohol, or Facebook” (Hilaire Cash).  Addiction with the internet and video games start young and has a harmful effect on the child’s future.  Internet addicts usually have 15 to 20 years of addiction on them due to starting younger.  This leads to the underlying effect of depression, anxiety, ADHD, learning differences in their futures.  This will be very harmful to the younger generations who are growing up using technology in their everyday lives.
