Since Rajon Rondo tore his ACL during a Friday night loss to the Atlanta Hawks, I predict that the Boston Celtics will not make the playoffs. The Boston Celtics have been in the playoffs every year since 2007.  But all of those seasons were because they had a young point guard in Rondo who could do it all for them on the court. The Boston Celtics go normally as Rondo goes but if he isn’t healthy enough to perform then they will struggle because of their age. “Typical recovery for an ACL tear depending on severity can be between 8 and 12 months.”(MattMoore) This is a huge blow to the Boston Celtics because of Rondo’s importance to the team and in my opinion they will miss the playoffs because of it.
