the reading strategy that I am going to use is prediction. At this point in the story, it is the night before the Hunger Games begin and Katniss can not go to sleep. So she decides to go on the roof to watch the city, and of course she finds peeta up there. they talk for a while, and watch the people partying in the town. Then Katniss goes back to her room to go to sleep. In the morning, right before the games, Katniss went to Cinna to get dressed and prepare for the game. as she was getting into the tube to take her to the hunger games, Cinna said to her ” good luck ” [Collins 180]. Immediately Katniss teared up. from her reaction, i cam tell that Katniss is still very scared to battle, and truly does not want to do this.
