My book that I have been reading this month is The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. the main protagonist in the book is Katniss who a seventeen-year-old girl in a post-apocalyptic world, trying to survive in one of the poorest parts of the districts. She goes out beyond the fence to shoot in order to feed her family, which is against the rules, but she does this anyway.   Her friend Gale does this with her and together to find a way to survive against the suppression of the Capital. She states, “In the woods waits the only person with whom I can be myself.” This shows that she is more adventurous and stronger than many of the other girls in her district. This foreshadows her success in the Hunger Games because she has the ability to hunt and kill.
