Katie needed a plan to get out of that house. Kevin had a police convention in Marlborough. He left and it was Katie’s time to get out. She brought out her phone and set it up so when Kevin called the house it was go straight to the cell phone. She took a shower and thought of her plan. When she finished her shower she brought out a box of hair dye. Next thing you know her hair is short to her shoulders and brown. She “cleaned the bathroom” so there was no evidence of her cutting her hair or dying it a different color (Sparks 178). Katie finally leaves the house and get on a bus to go to Philadelphia. She does not have a lot of money so she needed to go find a job. She worked at a lot of different restaurants for about two days and just took her tips. She did not want to risk Kevin finding her so she moved around a lot. I think Kevin is going to get home and find her not there. He is going to freak out and go search for her. He is a police man so he will use his detective skills and hunt her down.
