Yawni, Ramon, AJ, Snug, and Chico just finished pulling off two big bank robberies. With the help of the bank owner they successfully escaped and bought his hotel. Little do they know the police has put them under 24/7 surveillance after two officers were shot and killed in the last robbery. So far in the book there hasn’t been any hint that after he group goes legit with the money that they plan to still be in he illegal business. There is, however, signs that Ramon is getting a litle carried away and is starting to cut the group out of the deal. He keeps making little slip ups like when he and Shug were talking about he hotel he said “I have big plans for my hotel,” not “I have big plans on our hotel,” Also when he was talking to Yawni he said “When I get my hotel,” which she quickly corrected him on it. I also predict the police will succeed in getting atleast some of the suspects since he police tend to be more motivated to caching criminals when one of their own is harmed.
