Freedom

January7

I read a document about freedom and it caught my attention because in the beginning of the document it says “If you ask a hundred people what is the meaning of freedom ? You will get a hundred different answers).Am glade that I was fortunate to read this document because it taught alot of things about the real meaning to freedom. Some people consider freedom to be a synonym of democracy. Others believe that it is an opportunity to act freely and embody ideas. There are also those who are sure that it is a possibility to do what they want regardless of the impact their actions will have on other people. A prisoner thinks that freedom is a life out of prison, where you decide everything on your own ,but since I read this document I realized that everyone has his/her own freedom and freedom in my definition is an absence of pressure and enforcement from other people. I connect this document about freedom to my uncle who used to be in jail and after he got he seemed to appreciate freedom more anyone because he has his own definition of freedom. However freedom is not unlimited because we too much freedom will lead to chaos ,so we need to live in balance because that is the right way to live.

“Freedom”

Our troubles begin when we try to find that balance between personal freedom and having to live in a society with other people. Making laws that tell people what to do or not do (do not text and drive) make people argue about how much freedom should we have compared to limiting what we can do to keep everyone safe.
