Blog Post 14 – Stealing Candy

January28

In the beginning Gianna ( the kidnapped girl) is describing her surroundings. She describes a small house with cigarette ashes and chicken bones all over the place. I imagine an abandoned and dilapidated looking house with thick curtains in the window because she stated how it was always dark. I imagine dirty dishes and a overflowing toilet because she described the smell as stinking of waste. I imagine a makeshift bed n the corner because she mentioned Bullet (her kidnapper) sleeping on it although she slept on the floor.

Sounds like Gianna is in a horrible place. Your description helps me visualize the poor surroundings and hope that Gianna gets out of there soon! I also love your use of the word “makeshift”!
