In my independent reading I chose to pick predicted to find a reading strategies in the book. I predicted about what will happen next in the story The Hunted. I predicted about Lucky, the girl in the story that has a bad life because her dad killed her mom will, end up at the end of the story with a good life because her dad is in jail and does not think that he will get out and if he does get out she has a person that can help her and also she changed her name legally. A quote that I found was “Hey, Lucky. I think maybe you’ve had just a tad too much wine…” I picked this quote because Lucky’s dad found her and she is scared.
