Charlie went to the homecoming with his friends, and he saw something he wasn’t suppose to see. Dave was dancing with another girl, he used to date with Sam who is Charlie likes. “I saw them dancing together, Dave and his girl, and I got really mad, it kind of scared me how mad I got.” He’s really mad about that, since Dave is hurting the girl he likes. I can imagine he was so crazy at that time even tried to go beat him.
That is a sad prediction that your first thought is for Charlie to be violent. I understand that anger and violence go together, but it does not always have to if people know ways to let their anger out. He could go hit baseballs or play a tough game of basketball or something to let off some of his feelings.
