In my book titled Another Piece of My Heart, Emily wants to go with her friends to an event called “Burning Man” for one week. Emily’s dad Ethan does not want her to go because he knows how she has behaved in the last couple of months where as she can be out of control when she’s away from her father. Emily expressed how much she really wanted to go and agreed to list all of her friends addresses and phone numbers for her father so he will feel a little better in his decision. He decides to let her go but prays she does not screw up and get into too much trouble. I predict that Emily will do something that she will regret and it will alter the rest of her life for the worst. Ethan shows how much he cares about his daughter when he says “And I have to admit, it feels amazing to see her so happy. I just hope she can be trusted. I hope she can not get into too much trouble. I hope she makes responsible choices.”
