Based on the story of Pandemonium, Lena should not live in the Wilds. The reason is because there is ill health in the Wilds. Everyone “breathes and sneezes on one another” (Oliver 59) and that is not good for health. She has to move from there because there is a food shortage. It is not a comfortable place. In order to stay in that house, she has to work in the house. Even though she wants to stay in the Wilds, it’s a bad idea to live there.
