This week I am currently reading The Secret Dreamworld Of A Shopaholic. In this chapter Luke asks Rebecca to go suitcase shopping with her since he is travelling abroad for the summer. Rebecca hesitates to accept his offer but accompanies him anyway, yet whilst they’re at the store he continues to flirt with her. Suddenly after flirting so much with Rebecca, he tells her that he is suitcase shopping for himself and his fiancee. I can predict that Rebecca would be shocked yet surprised as to why he would ask her to accompany him shopping.

Earth Day is a holiday that celebrates being green, recycling and the earth. It is one of my favorite holidays. It is celebrated on April 22nd. EarthDay has been celebrared since April 22nd, 1970.” Earth Day, the modern environmental movement, has been celebrated each April 22 since 1970″. A Wisconson senetor named Gaylord Nelson started it. I predict that Earth Day will forever be celebrated.

This week I am currently reading The Secret Dreamworld Of A Shopaholic. In this chapter Rebecca is at a business conference with a very important manager hosting the event, named Luke. Rebecca is aware that Luke has feelings for her and is constantly hinting , but she always reminds herself not to mix business with pleasure. “I can’t take the risk of getting hurt, he’s arrogant anyway so who cares?” is what she tells her best friend Beverly. I can visualize that Rebecca is ery unsure when she says this to Beverly, because she hasn’t denied having feelings for him.

As everyone that attends Tc Williams High school should know about the big contreversy that has been going around about the prom King and Queen Nominees. As you should have saw on the news there is a boy who got nominated for prom Queen and a girl who got nominated for prom King. The really big issue is the fact that the boy actually got nominated for Queen and that TC is allowing this even to happen. Not only are the seniors upset about this it is possibly the whole school at least half. In my opinion i dont see anything wrong with him running for Queen if TC allowed it. In order to get nominated for King or Queen people have to vote for you. If no one would have voted for him he wouldnt have been a final nominee. So therefre it is obviously people in the school who have no problem with this. Now what I dont like is that it wasnt really fair to the other females who were running to lose to a boy. Another big issue is that people are taking it way too far. Alot of people are basing this situation all on the fact that he is gay. This has absolutley nothing to do with his sexual orientation. He was given an opportunity to do something and he took it and people obviously liked him enough to vote for him. It really bothers me that the administrators and ms.maxey allowed this to be put on the news because at the end of the day they allowed this to happen they were the ones who gave the “okay”. I think that this even has showed alot of people that everyone is different and that they should be accepyed for whoever they are. I support the LBT community and have NO problem with this. I actually hope he wins.

This week I am currently reading The Great Gatsby. In chapter 2 Myrtle finally finds the courage to repeatedly say Daisy’s name even though she is aware it irritates Tom. “Daisy! Daisy! Daisy!” shouted Mrs. Wilson. “I’ll say it whenever I want to! Daisy! Dai ——” This quote shows how she’s not afraid of Tom and wants to rebel against Tom. Tom then punches her and breaks her nose, I can predict that Myrtle will still continue to stay with Tom even though he just abused her.

Based on the story of The Other Side of Truth, I disagree with Uncle Tunde. He wants Sade and her brother to go to England with a Mrs. Bankole to meet their uncle. “ Her name is Mrs. Bankole… She has agreed to take you to your Uncle Dele” said Uncle Tunde (Naidoo 14). They do not know who Mrs. Bankole is. What if they do not find their uncle? What if they are lost? It is dangerous to travel with a stranger.

Eyerusalem Shiberu -Evaluation

Based on the story of The Other Side of Truth, I agree with Uncle Tunde. The reason is because he cares a lot about Folarin (niece). She wants to write about Nigeria’s school system. Uncle Tunde supports her idea but does not want her to write in Nigeria. Her father wrote the truth about the country and the people hated him so much. They even killed her mother. He said “join Dele in London-at least you can go on writing. Let the outside world know what’s happening to Nigeria” (Naidoo 10). His think ahead for her.

Eyerusalem Shiberu, Evaluation

This week I am currently reading an article on the movie of ‘The Great Gatsby’ shown in The Independent newspaper. The article describes how the director of the film was attracted to the book, because it linked to hysteria and amusement. The article also mentions that no one will find this upcoming movie boring since the director has included well known actors such as: Leonardo DiCaprio. I can visualize that this movie will be successful, and interesting to people of different interests and ages.

This week I am currently reading an article about how people believe it’s wrong for Kim Kardashian to wear heels during her pregnancy. It has been a hot topic this week and many people think it is wrong and dangerous for her, however it’s interesting as to why are people so concerned about her decisions? Kim argues that she finds it more comfortable to walk around in heels, and I can connect to this because I feel like it’s more comfortable to walk around in heels rather than in flats.

In my book I have several questions that I want to ask. My first is why would anyone want to have Dinosaurs a pet? The reason why I asked this question’s, is because I really do not know why someone would want to have a dangerous animal around or even, living with them in the same household. Also there are so many things that could go with having a pet Dino. For an example the Dinosaur could eat you, step on you, impale you, and run into you, and so on. My second question, is how on Earth did the Scientist on Earth find a way to bring the Dinosaurs back from dead?  The reason why I am asking this question, is because the book never really gave details on they were able to bring the Dinosaurs back from the Dead.
