This quote conveys how A is still lost in her thoughts about being in Justin’s body and spending time with Rhiannon. This morning she has awaken as Leslie Long, an unpopular sixteen-year-old who has an older brother named Owen. A states that she prefers to be an only child. Throughout the day as Leslie, A begins to learn the mannerisms of Owen and Carrie, Leslie’s best friend.

This article talks and discusses how a 15 year chinese boy named Ding vandalized a stone Egyptian sculpture. The Egyptian people are so raged up about the vandalism on the sculpture.The 15 year old kids parents are so shocked about what what their son has done. This act by the 15 year old kids has cause a “massive generating online backlash amongst China’s unforgiving netizens. Ding’s parents has contacted media oulets to make an apology to the Egyptians. Most of all what was Ding’s pirpose of vandalizing the stone Egyptian sculpture?

I visualized that Koman Willis is extremely a crazy person. I wonder what push him over the edge to make him kill a 6 month year old baby. But it does not surprise me, because “Koman Willis is a gang memeber with at least 38 prior arrest.” I visualize that Jonylah father had a part to do with her being killed by Willis. What made Koman Willis want to kill a beautiful baby girl like Jonylah Watkins. Most of all she did not geta opportunity to experience life expected for the six months she lived before being killed.

On Wednesday in English we read about “The Yard Spinner”. The title means story teller  and the main passage was about James Beckwourth Life. He was a very brave man he fought in the second Seminole War and he also was a war chief for the Crow warriors. When Beckwourth died he dedicated his autobiography to Justice of the Peace Thomas Bonner. James Pierson Beckwourth was a very good man and he got recognition for his achievements during his lifetime.

This week, I read an article about a mother that “accidently” dropped her baby in a squat toilet in Beijing, China. Worst of all, the mother “did not initially come forward to claim the baby”(Tang). Apparently, she delivered the baby in the restroom and was too scared to come forward. I believe that no matter the circumstances, she should own up for her actions even if she did something as idiotic as that. She should not even think twice whether she should retrieve her baby or not, especially after all he/she has been through. That is her baby, in other words, an extension of her. What did she hope for, to leave the baby stranded and hope it gets into a good foster home and avoid any embarrassment? What was going through her mind? Didn’t she wanna see if her baby was okay after firemen had to rescue it from the sewers?

It is the first day of school and Jayd has already been confronted by 2 people wanting to jump her before the first bell. Before the confrontations Jayd explained how her ex friend Misty has been spreading lies about her and was the main reason her and her boyfriend broke up. I predict that misty has something to do with the confrontations because Jayd said “Misty is always in some mess and stirring up trouble,” also Misty just happened to be front and center in both of the confrontations. Misty also just happened to ride to school with one of the girls who confronted Jayd nand is known to be a big gossip.

Apple and Coca are twins who have always had a rivalry, but at the same time  had each others back when it came to other people. When their baby sister gets kidnapped, raped, then killed their rivalry becomes deadly and they each have a burning hate for one another. Even though the twins do not have any evidence they know that the neighborhood loan shark, Supreme, is responsible. He repeatedly threatened them after Apple was not able to repay a loan she got from him. Coca blames Apple for their little sister’s death because it was her stupidity that caused it. Soon Apple gets involved with Supreme while she plots to kill him. She wants to get close to him, then attack. But Coca and the rest of her friends and family do not know about her plans and see her as “sleeping with the enemy” She ends up convincing his right hand man to kill him in his sleep. After his right hand man, Tony, starts feeling guilty and Apple cuts him off because he is annoying her. She gets involved with this guy named Carlos and he seems like her perfect match. But Tony starts threatening to tell the police about what she did if she did not come back with him. She was a nervous wreck when she got off the phone and Carlos asked was she ok but she said nothing was wrong.

Questions:

Why would Apple not tell Coca what she was planning, Coca wanted revenge just as much as Apple did and she had more weapons and men to back her up and help her out. Nothing good came of keeping it a secret. Apple’s relationship got worse with her sister and her friends and neighbors felt as if she was heartless.

Why did Apple not tell Carlos what was going on. He is a powerful drug kingpin and the threat Tony made would not have mattered because Carlos would have took care of him. Apple planned to set him up herself, it went wrong and now Tony is bent on killing her.

The reading strategy I am going to use is prediction. I’m predict that Keisha is going to regret cheating weeks before she gets married. The reason I say this is because Keisha had a batchlorette party with a couple of closets friends and of course at parties like these male strippers were there. Before the strippers came everybody was having fun and listening to old school songs trying to remember how to dances that went along with it. Finally the strippers came and everybody was REALLY happy, there was three strippers. When Keisha saw the three male strippers she said they were “the finest shades of chocolate men I had ever seen in my life”. Their names were Mr. Goodnight, Chocolate Ty, and Damager. Out of all three of the strippers Keisha liked the Damager, they had some type of connection. While the others were distracted by the other two males. Damager and Keisha went into the other connecting hotel room and they had sex. The next day Keisha felt so bad she ran home and took a shower to wash off all the guilt she felt.

The book i am currently reading is titled Stung. It is a book written by Bethany Wiggins. It is all centered around a girl Fiona. The stung has no cure for it at all. She wakes up one morning and find out that everything is abandoned and broken and that her world is being torn apart. The entire neighborhood lays barren and dead. And also stranger is the tattoo she discovers on her right hand-a black oval with five marks on either sides of it. She does not remember getting it or how she got it but all she knows is that she got it. All those bearing the tattoos have turned into mindless violent beasts that keep on roaming the streets and underground sewers  surviving on the other types of people. The people without the mark have formed a fortress around themselves and their lives devoted to rebuilding a society and killing all those who bear the mark. I  predict that she is going to figure out all the impact behind the mark and then find a way to connect herself with the people on the other side of the wall.

In the book there was this one girl that had come to visit her lover. She was very tall and the other guys liked her. She was very nice. She had been staying with the soldiers for quite sometime and she had learned some skill while with them. “At the end of the second week, when four casualties came in, Mary Anne wasn’t afraid to get her hand bloody” (Page 98).  The other guys had noticed that she had changed after a while. She was more fierce now her attitude had changed  she had become more like a soldier. Could this happen to anyone if they were to stay with soldier for a while? Will your attitude change?
