Just my rut (part 3)

January7

A week without my rut went well because giving up my rut for had a positive effect on my life. I feel like I did find things to accomplish in the spare time; instead of napping I read and went out to apply for jobs with my friend which was very enjoyable. I found new interest in reading that I did not think I would ever do because I used to find reading boring but once I gave up my rut I did not think so anymore. I am glad to have had this experience, although it was for school it was kind of forcing me to find something to do. I will still attempt to give up my rut every now and again even though the experience is over school wise. My life was simplified because I slept less then I usually would. “All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better.” (Emerson) This quote by Emerson applies to my experience because I was apple to experiment my life and try something new to make it better.
