Jenny and John were so excited for their new baby that was on the way. They went to the doctor to get a sonogram. While at the doctor they were getting nervous to see the baby on the monitor. The couple waited anxiously to get their “first glimpse of baby Grogie”(Grogan 45). The doctor came in and started looking for the baby but was having trouble finding it. The doctor gave them unforchunate news that she had had a miscarriage. Jenny had to go through all these procedures and she was finally allowed to go home. When they got home she went straight to bed and Marley was right there comforting her. I think The couple will try to have another baby because they lost their first one. Just because something big happened in their life does not stop them from moving forward.
