Amazing Opportunities for Students!

I had the pleasure of attending the NAGC (National Associate for Gifted Children) Conference this past week and wanted to pass along four amazing opportunities for our students!

I am attaching flyers for each opportunity to this blog post and will also post.  If you have further questions, please contact me. Below are brief summaries of each.

For the students:

The Army Educational Outreach Program sponsors two exciting programs for our middle schoolers:

  1. The Junior Solar Sprint is an inquiry-based engineering challenge where students crate the fastest, most interesting vehicle possible. All materials and resources are online.
  2. eCYBERMISSION is a web based STEM competition trying to solve real world issues.

All materials and more information can be found at: www.usaeop.com

Helicopter 2050 Challenge

The Sikorsky Helicopter Company challenges students to come up with their vision of the helicopter of the future. Grand Prize $1000 scholarship.

Deadline is approaching fast for this one: December 1st.
