Sticks and Stones

I am a wall

I may look small

but compared to me

you aren’t anything at all

bigger than the people that try to get to me

no matter how battered and weathered I am

I’ll still be there

and if you try to hurt me

sticks and stones won’t break my bones

so much taller than you all
