Mission topic,Purpose,and Hypothesis

Do you want to make a change? That’s what we are trying to do, make a change in our school. Our mission is to create a photography team in our school GWMS2. The purpose of our mission is to create a photography team in our school to increase interest and make the popularity of our school increase. Our hypothesis is that if we create a photography team then the interest in student will increase and our schools popularity will also increase. If the interest in students increase then our school may benefit from this by tests scores growing.

Real world skills I’v learned

From this project I have learned many things so far. Three skills that I have learned through this process are how to talk to important people that could benefit our project, How to look at peoples online profiles for photography and how to do good online researching.  These could all benefit me outside the classroom to help me make important deals when I’m older. Being able to evoluate a persons profile. Also be able to talk to important people in respectful ways.

Challenges we/I Encountered

Aside from the good things that have happened there have been some challenges. Three challenges we encountered are getting rejected, not knowing what to say in phone calls, and trying to find the right person to be involved in out project. Most of these challenges came across to us when we had to make calls. Also finding someone who would want to help us out in our project. These were challenges because we needed someone to help us create this photography team and mentor us.

Solutions we tried out

Although we had some challenges we always over came them. Some solutions  that we tried to overcome our challenges were After getting rejected don’t give up and keep the search for people, we came up with  what we should say to the person we would call, and lastly we made sure that we were being as mature as we could on the phone. For these solutions we had to think very hard but in the end we know it will all work out and benefit us in a good way.

Next steps

We have done lost to make our project successful. Our next step we need to be 100% prepared. We need to have a script planned out and have the numbers to contact our school. Next we will try to get a sponsor to come to our school and talk to us about what it takes to make an photography team or explain to us if he or she could help us and/or mentor us while making this photography team. We will then need to find a way to get equipment for our photography team. That includes cameras which could be very expensive.
