Mission Topic , Purpose , and Hypothesis

• Our mission is to get a grant

• The purpose of our mission is making a photography club at GW2

• Our hypothesis is that if we make a photography then we are going to be successful at it

Photography is a great experience for you for young teenagers . We are trying to make  a photography club at George Washington Middle School 2. The purpose of trying to make this photography club is making people to wanna join our club. That’s if we make a photography club then we’re gonna have to be successful at it.

Real World Skills I’ve Learned

1. Contacting businesses

2. Finding people who are helping people get grants

3. Talking to live operators

4. People not emailing you back

        The skills i’ve learned from this assignment is contacting businesses is a hard strategy because you have to know what to say when you get on the phone with a live operators. Finding people and that are helping young teenagers get grants is difficult because some people don’t like giving out grants. Talking to live operators is really hard. Some of them ask question that you don’t expect or give you negativity and tell you that they don’t have answers for your questions. Also when your emailing someone and its a really important situation and they don’t email you back that’s a very serious problem if you already did it over 3 times. Some people are to busy to email some teenager who is trying to get a grant , so maybe they would answer if the principal contacted them then they would probably have to answer.

Challenges We/I Encountered

2. Figuring out how to get a grant

3. Hard to reach companies

    Some challenges that me and my group are facing are getting negative feedback. I need to work on planning before I call a live operator because that would make things much better.

Solutions We Tried Out

Some solutions that we tried to overcome our challenges was looking deeper and      going through obstacles in finding a grants , fundraising , etc.

Next Steps

Next , we need to :

1. Find ways to purchase stuff that needed for the photography club

Also finding more open grants

Favorite Part of the Process

My favorite part of this process was coming together as a group and completing this assignment with all of us putting some work together ,  because if it wasn’t for some of my group members I wouldn’t be able to find a grant all by myself .
