today we dicussed how did this mission increased its progress .
this year we didnt really acomplished much. we were able to get an actual sponser for our school newspaper .what went well for this project was actually getting ut there and being able to contact people. working on this project was not easy this project made us feel stressed and frustraded becuase we werent as succesful as our other teammates . what we can do next time is actually add alittle bit more effort and intrest

Mid -Mission Reflection katherine .
Mission topic,purpose and hypothesis How Our mission is to make george washington 2 middle school newspaper .
Our purpose in this mission is to maintain parents inform about projects that are happening around school also to get students involved and excited about reading and writing and not being afraid to share their thought . Our hypothesis
is that if we make this newspaper to something more interesting like a magazine a lot of student are going to be more likely to read it
but we also think that if we did a online resource parents can get easy accesses to student information .
Real world skills i’ve learned
Three skills i have learned through this process is how to be a fluent speaker on the phone with sponsors ,also asking fluent and pacific questions and researching specific topic . I can use these skills outside the classroom to collect more information about writing a newspaper .
Challenges we/ I Encountered
Three challenges we encountered was that we weren’t able to accomplish any work. My teammates and i didn’t stay on topic. We couldn’t find sponsors to help us out with our project . last i would say writing our script to call Alexandria times news paper that was pretty challenging .this was challenging because we never got things done
Solution we tried out .
some solutions that we tried to overcome our challenges were to stay on task and to get some work completed .We created an email to send to the editor of Alexandria times newspaper instead of calling he replied saying he was glad to help and just to email him more details about our project .
Next steps
Our next steps are to write a grant to set our budget down . Set down , our needs also telling him[Alexandria times editor] what our school needs .Describing our school newspaper organization also draft another email for Alexandria times news paper also ask Alexandria times editor what he can help us with .If that didn’t work out we would try to look for another sponsor around the community to help us reach our goals. After that we would try to create a news paper club to help students get interested in how to write articles and get them a lot more interested in reading.After that start out planning how our news paper is going to look like and information is going to contain .We chosen this steps because we think this are some realistic steps that can be done in a small period of time .
Favorite part of the process
This was a new experience for me my favorite part of this process was to plan our steps down even though we barely got that done also calling a sponsor and feeling important .Talking about how we are gonna break our news paper down with the fliers clubs and the actual newspaper . preparing new thought about articles and image of newspaper and club . Thinking about what was our main reason behind all of this project i thought just to make a newspaper for no reason but no were actually trying to increase students abilities of reading and writing so far its been an amazing experience
something that i would had never thought of doing !
