Baseball Mess-up

12:37 in the afternoon and I felt like hitting some baseballs. I asked “mom can we go to the batting cage”,of course she said “yes”.  My mom and I went to the batting cage. While I was hitting, some balls went high in the sky. I selected fast for my speed. I was doing a excellent job, until I missed and the ball hit me on my leg. I went home to put some ice on it. I rolled up my long baseball pants and I saw humongous bruise on my leg

I was putting ice on my leg, which my mom told me “you need to prop up your leg or else it’ll get worse”. Then my dad walked in. He saw the giant bruise on my leg. He asked “what did you do”, I then told him” a baseball hit me at the batting cage.  I also told him “it really hurts”. He took me to the the doctor the next morning. I have been going to this doctor for a very long time.

The doctors assistant walked into the patient’s lobby. She called “Matthew ”. I went into the doctors office, where he checks you for your problems. I told him” I bruised my leg at the batting cage”. He told me”you need to take x-rays”. I got back my x-ray results. I found out that I had fractured my tibia bone in three different places.

I couldn’t go to school for two weeks and when I did I had to use crutches. I thought that the crutches were terrible because they hurt underneath my arm. I had to put ice underneath my arm because of the crutches. I only had three weeks until I could take the cast off and walk on it. Then I could finally walk without these crutches, I was thinking to myself.

It was three weeks later, so I went to my doctor that morning. I went into his office. I took x-rays again and I was ninety-nine percent healed. I could walk perfectly on my feet again. I was so happy. My mom was happy too. She was so happy, she took me to get a milk-shake at my favorite ice-cream place. I went home to tell my dad. He was happy that I was healed too. He said “Thank goodness”. I went back to school the next morning, and I saw all my friends. I was so happy to see them, and I think they were happy to see me too.
