I am excited to write to you today to announce a fun opportunity for youth with Youth Voice Alexandria. We are on the hunt for a youth/young adult to fill the role of a social media intern who would improve their social media skills by bringing awareness and promoting education on the unique issues youth face in our communities. We are looking for a young person who has some experience or an understanding of either the mental health, foster care, juvenile justice, or education systems. This young person will be responsible for developing content for YVA’s social media sites and our website (which will be launched soon!!). Our timeline is to do interviews mid to end of July with training in August and then full time in September when school begins.
