Deadlines! Opportunities! Scholarships!! Deadlines!!

Can you believe we are one month away from the start of senior year! This is an amazing time, full of possibilities, but also filled with deadlines. This edition of senior year updates has a lot of great information, but its time to develop a calendar if you have not yet, and start planning out your year.

Here are just a few of the many opportunities that may make your future brighter and full of options!Fly in programs and deadlines

The beginning of senior year is around the corner, and wanted to pass on this awesome opportunity at the prestigious Pomona College in California. They have a Fly-In program for prospective students (FREE), see the information below and apply if interested, the deadline is NEXT WEEK.
August 14 is quickly approaching. We want to make sure your students have the opportunity to connect and possibly visit.

http://www.pomona.edu/admissions/diversity/the-fall-weekend.aspx

Weekend 1 – September 26-29, 2015 (application packets due August 14, 2015)
Weekend 2 – October 10-13, 2015 (application packets due September 4, 2015)

There are other schools that offer fly-in programs to students who meet specific criteria, however, you usually need to have your application completed by a certain deadline. Ask around, and search for these amazing opportunities (ie. College Greenlight). Opportunities abound for those who seek them, and work hard to earn them! We are here to help (well officially here on August 20th! 😉 )
