I can run

I can fly

I feel as though I could touch the sky

yet my feet still can not lift off the ground

it is so dark and gloomy down  on the ground

so abandoned

so empty

but in the sky

it is bright

I will be free in the sky

with my feet off the ground

nothing will ever hold me down

because I can fly
