A short life cycle

Sometimes I’m just sitting

Then plucked from the ground

The blow starts begining

And they float all around

Swirling

Twirling

All the time curling

But then I’m forgotten

dropped all the way back down

back next to my old spot

I’m losing my life

Is that the light now?!

But my seeds will carry me, like a king through time

But I’m just sitting here, losing my rhyme

All around, across an area

But now I’m here, on the ground lying, dying

Living my life cycle, being myself

I have many, many ancestors, a hundred and one

But that’s just me, a dandelion

  1. That is such a great poem! I love it how it relate to to Carley and real life
