The Deadly Fear

THE DEADLY FEAR

By Julio

“I’m coming for you” Jim kept  hearing that message in his dream. Jim always had a fear of dying. So many of his family died young. He didn’t want to continue that streak. He was an average kid, he had friends, he hung out with them, anything average kids would do. But his fear of death always got in the middle of his life. He was always protected, just in case he saw the light.  His friends knew it, and try to help him overcome his greatest fear. His friends knew that Jim wasn’t that courageous. The most courageous thing Jim did in his life was drinking  out a kiddie water fountain by accident . He wondered everyday if death was knocking at his door. Jim had a fear about dying, which was common for his family. His parents knew about his fear,  and so did  his friends. To help him with his fear  they made Jim a party. So many ways to get killed. The knifes were calling his name.

“ Come here, I don’t hurt”. Jim ran out of the party.

“Hey Jim what happened.” said Bob.

“ I saw Knifes, I saw Death” said Jim.

“ I couldn’t do it, said Jim.

“ You know Jim, you are a good child, you shouldn’t let a fear get the best of you.”

“ You’re right. I’ll tell that fear to go away.”said Jim.

Jim enjoyed the party more and more. He returned home and went straight to sleep. Jim woke up after having a dream. This time the message was to overcome his biggest fear. He could try to live life and enjoy it, not fear it. His parents were proud to hear that Jim was going to get over his fear.  Jim only had one problem, He didn’t know where to begin. His friend Bob was having a  birthday party on Saturday. Jim thought this would be excellent to begin getting over his fear. Jim began having fun at the pizza store, the bowling alley and the aquarium. All places Jim fear.  His fear began to shrink and shrink. Than everything became to make sense. He was missing out on fun activities because of the fear of dying. After several weeks of having fun activities, Jim’s fear of dying was gone. Jim couldn’t believe it. He got over his fear.  Jim felt braver than a roman gladiator. Jim now felt he could take over the world. But that was a long shot. He decided to remain on planet Earth for now. He could do anything if he puts his mind to it. And Jim had 2 new mottos. You can succeed in life if you put your heart in it, and life is worth living.

Hikers and the Forest

When people come to visit

I fell  joyful like a kid getting an A on a hard exam

Happy when a person comes to me and explores around this area.

Ready to share my thoughts to other trees, creeks and animals moaning this area.

Hikers come, in and out, ready to share their thoughts to me.

Forest Friends Fly and Hikers Fly with their thoughts to the Forest.

Thinking what to tell the hikers next.

Flowing the story to visitors.

That is a forest.
