Mission Topic, Purpose, and Hypothesis

Kids really can make change in their community!  Our mission is to put more bulletin boards up in our school. We hypothesize that if bulletin boards are put up then our community will be informed about what students are learning about. This will occur because they will visually be able to see what students have worked on in class. We also hope that it will give students a motivation to do their best on their assignments if they know other students and visitors will see what they have worked on.

Real World Skills I’ve Learned

I have learned many new skills throughout doing this mission.  One skill that I have learned is how persuasively communicate with adults.   Another skill is how to research online more efficiently.  I have also learned that even if it is for a good cause sometimes people will still turn you down.  I have lastly learned that students can make a change in their community.  I can use all of these skills outside the classroom to help meet my goals in life and face the challenges I meet.
