A short life cycle

Sometimes I’m just sitting

Then plucked from the ground

The blow starts begining

And they float all around

Swirling

Twirling

All the time curling

But then I’m forgotten

dropped all the way back down

back next to my old spot

I’m losing my life

Is that the light now?!

But my seeds will carry me, like a king through time

But I’m just sitting here, losing my rhyme

All around, across an area

But now I’m here, on the ground lying, dying

Living my life cycle, being myself

I have many, many ancestors, a hundred and one

But that’s just me, a dandelion

Flying Like a penguin

Flying like a penguin

Zooming on my sled down a hill with snow in my face

I hit the jump and fly like a penguin

I Jump off to the side with no fear of hitting the stump

The stump frowns

I grab a log and haul it to the jump

Everyone say it is to dangerous

They say I will die

I climb to the top of the hill

When I hit the jump I fly like a penguin past the stump

Once I am done they say, can I give it a try

I say I didn’t die, did I?

I have feelings too

I am a computer
I have feelings too
Kids slamming my keyboard
It sounds like giant footsteps
Teachers try to teach them how to type
Teachers hands move faster than my computer brain can handle
Pound pound is what I hear everyday
People don't think that I have feelings
I don't want to go to the hospital because they stick needles and things
Fingers dance around the keyboard like a Ballerina

The smile of Ice

I look at the ice,

it looks back,

it smiles at me,

it invites me to come skate on it,

I walk up to it,

I step on it’s smooth surface,

I take a stride and the ice reels me in,

It will never let me go,

It’s not just me though,

It manipulates many millions in to stepping on it’s smoothness,

Just one step and you will never want to leave,

One stride and you fall in love,

It calls to you to come and skate,

It is as smart as the smartest man to ever walk the earth,

It wants you to come and skate,

And you want to come,

And once you do you will never leave.

The Blue Ribbon Winner

My rider tugs at the reins and I tiptoe forward,

my nerves bouncing off the arena gates.

We walk to the center of the ring

and she whispers something in my ear

“We can do this. I believe in you.”

She mounts and gently rests on my back,

patting my neck

I hear an obscure sound along with a buzzer

and my rider nudges her heels into my sides

I trot around half of the ring and then pick up the canter.

We move towards a series of fences

and my anxiety begins to rise

but my rider coaxes me on

and before I know it,

I am flying over the jumps like an airplane,

one by one

But then I hear a loud crack

The sound of my hoof knocking down a rail

I feel discouraged, but my rider pushes me on

and we finish the course with one fault

I hear a comforting cheer coming from the crowd

I slow down to a walk and my rider dismounts

She gives me a peck on the cheek

and whispers “You did amazing.”

A judge carrying a blue ribbon approaches us

and reaches towards me,

placing the ribbon on my bridle

Almost suddenly, I hear a few blurred sentences over a loud speaker,

I see the crowd applauding

and my rider’s smiling face

Wave after Wave

No worries,

No stress

Just waves running by my feet,

Wandering waves

My skin as hot as the sun,

with a coconut in my hand

The soothing sounds of the water,

put my mind in a trance

The time there is never wasted,

I can sit there for days

When I'm opened
When I'm read,
I am like a teacher
I teach with my text.
Teachers teaches with thought-provoking text
Having question related to me.
I am there, waiting
Till my next reader come
And spend time with me,
Until next time
I'll be waiting.
