Three weeks down, many more to go, which leaves lots of time for all that we still have to accomplish during your time as a Titan (before you become an alumni). Now that Chromebooks have been distributed and PowerSchool is active, you have more tools to prepare for a successful senior year. Senior Handbook is Coming Your Way!

On September 29, 2015 Senior Class meetings will take place. This is where we will review the Senior Handbook, which includes important processes and information for your planning purposes (ie. navigating the college application process and how to pay for college). This will be a jam packed session with lots of key information about senior year. Parents are welcome to come during the day to the sessions held each block by counselor, or to the evening session at 5:30.

Senior Pictures Retakes Are Almost Here

College Essay Writing Workshop this Saturday!

Need help writing those college essays? Plan to attend a special Saturday essay writing session with the Essaymom, Karen Schwarz. She will host a free college essay writing workshop next Saturday, September 26, 11:00 am – 1:30 pm in Room B111. The sign up sheet is located in the College & Career Center, A114. ACT and SAT Testing Dates and Deadlines

If you have not had a chance to sign up for an ACT or SAT, time is running out. Please take a look at this link for more information on dates, and visit the College and Career Center for fee waivers if necessary. In addition, both the College Board and ACT websites are full of college planning resources. Please spend some time utilizing the tools on these websites to help with your college planning process.

Colleges are coming almost everyday to the College and Career Center. Check Naviance for a complete listing, and to reserve your space. Fly-in Programs

In addition to on-campus visits at TC, and the College Fair on campus in October, have you explored the possibility of doing a “Fly-in” program to some of the amazing colleges and universities around the country. Mental Health Community Presentations

Mental health continues to be just as important as your physical health, especially during the stressful times of senior year. As you prepare for life after high school, please utilize the healthy resources that are all around you to cope with the challenges that life brings your way. It’s Never Too Late to Join A Club, or Be a Leader

Be sure to check out the Club Fair on Thursday, October 1st after school. Some of you have taken a look at your resume and realize you need to be more involved, or you would like to build up your leadership experience. Plan on attending the Club Fair on Thursday to find the club that could be just right for you!
