Going With the Flow in Week #2-Oh!

Caps and gowns have been picked up (HOPEFULLY for those who have ordered them ahead of time), and seniors have registered for the Graduation March to their former elementary or middle schools (link, even if you did not attend, if you have siblings or family members they would love to see you at those schools), and many more tests have been completed. Now it’s time to get that Senior Exit Survey completed (see below) and say “Hasta luego” to the seniors who start Senior Experience next week.

Speak of which, we owe a HUGE THANK YOU to our weekly newsletter student editors who have helped tremendously with the production of each week’s edition. Thank you goes out to Hana and Julia for their editing/revising efforts each week. We truly appreciated both of them throughout the year.

Mental Health Awareness Month

As we continue to recognize Mental Health Awareness month throughout May, one of the biggest issue that we know impacts our community in undiagnosed or untreated mental health conditions. It is time to shine light on healthy ways to deal with the myriad of mental health concerns that are faced by those in our community. We need to increase the awareness of those who are impacted and build support amongst those who love and care for them. Take a look at what is being offered through the National Alliance on Mental Illness and the National Institute of Mental Health.
